Jared “J.” Snow is an award-winning filmmaker, stand-up comedian, and writer from Compton, California. Known for blending sharp humor with emotionally honest storytelling, his work spans film, television, and live performance. He served as Head Writer for the 2024 BET Hip Hop Awards and wrote for the 2025 BET Awards hosted by Kevin Hart.

As a comedian, Snow performs nationally and has built a loyal digital audience through stand-up, short films, and documentary storytelling. His special Life Is Funny and related clips have generated more than 3 million views online.
As a filmmaker, his short film FLAWD won Best Director and Best Cinematography at the Micheaux Film Festival, while his debut feature documentary You Look Fine earned the Unstoppable Feature Grand Jury Prize, Audience Award, and theatrical distribution offer from Utopia. Whether on stage, in the writers' room, or behind the camera, Snow creates work that connects through humor, authenticity, and a deeply human perspective.
