Hailing from Compton, Jared J. Snow, better known as J. Snow, is a stand-up comic, filmmaker, and walking preexisting condition whose work spans stage, screen, and digital platforms. He has written for the BET Awards, served as head writer for the 2024 BET Hip Hop Awards, and released his debut special, Life Is Funny, now nearing a quarter million views. With over 30 million views across YouTube and his channel JSnowPro, J. Snow blends trauma, comedy, and the awkward truth of modern life into unforgettable storytelling.
Beyond stand-up, he released the comedy short I Can’t Hoop, proving he can laugh through anything, even missed layups. He has toured with Sydney Castillo, opened for Ron White and Marlon Wayans, and speaks at national sickle cell conventions like a warrior with a mic. His upcoming documentary, You Look Fine, eight years in the making, pulls back the curtain on his battle with sickle cell disease, revealing the unseen fight behind the laughs.
